Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how StaffGPT uses cookies and similar technologies, the categories we set, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We use them to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary: required for the site to function, including session management, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. These are always active and cannot be switched off.

Functional: remember preferences such as language and interface settings.

Analytics: help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Set only after you consent where consent is required.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Consent and control

On your first visit we show a banner letting you Accept all, Reject all non-essential cookies, or Manage preferences by category. Non-essential cookies are not activated before you consent where prior consent is required.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the banner or the link in the site footer. We record your consent choice in a first-party cookie so we can honor it on return visits.

Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to reject non-essential cookies.

Cookies we set

sg_cookie_consent (first-party, necessary): stores your consent choice; retained up to 6 months.

Session and authentication cookies (first-party, necessary): keep you signed in and protect your session; retained for the session or as configured by our authentication provider.

Analytics cookies, when enabled by your consent (first-party or provider-set): retained for up to 13 months.

Third-party providers

Some cookies may be set by infrastructure and service providers we use, including Supabase and Vercel. Their use is described in our Subprocessor List and their respective privacy policies.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices or applicable law change. Questions can be sent to privacy@staffgpt.net.
